FAQ’s

How long does it take to get tan?

Results vary based on the tanning booth selected and your skin type, so please read about our tanning booths or speak with your Caribbean Tan salon associate to see which booth is best for you. All of our clients see results after the very first session. Typically, you will need 4 to 5 sessions (within a 10-day period) to get a base tan. Also, we recommend using our Lotions to pamper your skin and maximize your tanning potential.

Do I need to wear eye protection?

Yes. We require our clients to use approved eye protection in our salons in order to prevent future vision problems that can be caused by UV exposure. It’s very important to us that your tanning experience is as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Why should I use lotion?

Our lotions have been created especially for use in our indoor tanning booths to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Healthy skin will tan more easily and hold on to that beautiful tan longer.

What is a photosensitizing medication?

If you are taking any prescription medications, ask your doctor if it is safe for you to tan as some medications cause skin sensitivity to UV light. Check out our list of some common photosensitizing medications. If it is not safe for you to tan, our UV-free Instant Tan, powered by Norvel Revolution, is a great alternative
